Tamar Navama is a jeweler and metalsmith based in Dallas, Texas. She is also the co-owner and founder of Raise Gallery and Studio.
Her one-of-a-kind jewelry and luxury leather goods manipulate, reproduce, and highlight natural materials through traditional and technologically driven processes.
Navama's work has been exhibited internationally including Munich Jewelry Week, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. She was a featured artist at Ornament Magazine. Navama’s designs were also featured in the book Cast by Renee Zettle-Sterling and Jen Townsend, . She serves as a designer for Ponder Boot Company in Fort Worth, and has taught metalsmithing and 3D design at the university level.
Originally from Israel, Navama received her BA in Fashion and Jewelry from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and earned her MFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry at the University of North Texas (UNT).
