"Starting with natural forms, Navama engages traditional metalsmithing techniques and technologically driven processes to create bold, postmodern jewelry that offers hints of its organic origins." - Annette Becker

Tamar Navama’s bold, postmodern jewelry offers hints of its organic origins and highlights natural materials through traditional and technologically driven processes. The internationally recognized artist explores textures, consumer culture, the value of source materials and the delicacy of craft through her many collections of earrings, bracelets, necklaces and uniquely crafted masterpieces.

Her fine metalsmithing along with powder coating plastic casting, programing and laser cutting is used to create a juxtaposition between materials and techniques used to represent controversial sources like skins, patterns and textures. Leaving no stone unturned, the forward-thinking and abstract artist combines refined luxury with a unique twist and an everpresent narrative about being bold, conquering your dreams and exploring new and different ways to manipulate metals, jewels and styles.
